How It Works

What happens when you book a review?

  1. Choose Your Service

Choose the service that suits your needs and you will be directed to a secure patient portal which will handle the rest of your review. No information is ever collected on this website.

  2. Complete Your Secure Intake

Setting up your portal account is quick and easy. Once you have it set up you will be directed to fill out intake forms specific to the service you chose. Take your time! Remember, the more thorough you are filling them out, the more thorough I can be with your review.

  3. Meet With Your Pharmacist

After you have finished your intake forms, book your first thirty-minute initial appointment where we will meet and go over your case to make sure I have all the information I need to complete your review.

  4. Complete Any Lab Work

If we decide together that you need additional lab work to inform the review, you will receive instructions for completing the lab draw at your convenience.

Not all cases will require additional lab work. All additional lab work is entirely optional and not required to complete any review.

  5. Be Patient

Now you wait... In the meantime, I will be analyzing your case from the ground up. Every component of your health will be taken into account to design the most comprehensive and actionable plan possible. No two cases are alike, but a review typically takes two to three weeks.

  6. You Receive Your Health Review

Your finished review will be uploaded into your patient portal as a single document, in three parts: what I found, what to do, and the reasoning behind all of it. A Lifestyle Strategy adds a full meal plan, an exercise program, and a plan to improve your sleep.

  7. Schedule Your Final Review Appointment

Once you have reviewed your results you will book your final review where we will go over the findings and the plan to answer all your questions and make sure that you are confident to move forward. In case there are any findings that need to be communicated with other providers I will contact them directly in writing after discussing it with you.

What You Receive

What you will receive.

A Comprehensive Medication and Supplement Review produces one document, in three parts, uploaded to your portal and yours to keep. A Lifestyle Strategy adds a sleep evaluation and action list, a full diet and meal plan, and a three to six month exercise program.

Two numbers on every step

Impact.
How much the step matters to your health, from 1, meaning reasonable either way, to 5, meaning a real safety or outcome consequence.
Confidence.
How sure I am, from 1, meaning speculative, to 5, meaning strong evidence with little room for doubt.

A step can matter a great deal and still be one I am only moderately sure about. When that happens, the two numbers disagree on purpose.

The Medication and Supplement Review Document

  1. Part One · Summary

    What I Found

An overview of every finding in the review. There is one short entry for every area of your health I examined, with the page where the reasoning lives. Where something is already working I say so, rather than leaving you to wonder whether I looked at it. It closes with what I could not determine from what was available.

  2. Part Two · Action plan

    What To Do

The whole plan on one page, in the order that it happens, and then every step written out. Each step says who does it — you, your prescriber, or me — and carries two numbers. This part also lists what stays the same, and the laboratory tests worth asking for next. It is the part to print, or to bring with you to an appointment.

  3. Part Three · Full report

    Why — The Full Picture

The reasoning behind everything in Part Two, area by area, with the laboratory results it rests on and a card for every therapy you take. Read the sections you have questions about and skip the rest. Nothing in Part Two depends on your having read it.

And at the back

  • Everything you take, current and proposed, in one table
  • What is actually inside your combination products, and where two of them overlap
  • Every term I could not avoid using, explained in plain language
  • Disclosures: your prescriptions, my financial interests, and the scope of the review

The Lifestyle Review Document

  1. Part One · Sleep

    Sleep Evaluation and Plan

A step-by-step guide to get more restful sleep.

  2. Part Two · Diet

    Diet Plan

A detailed nutrition strategy designed just for you.

  3. Part Three · Training

    Exercise and Recovery

    A complete training program.

Where something needs to reach one of your clinicians, I will write to them directly — always with your authorization, and always after we have discussed it.
